We just got back from a week in Atlanta. Debbie attended a conference all week, while Nate and I spent the week visiting old friends, eating at our favorite restaurants, roaming around the Georgia Aquarium and hanging out in the hotel pool. We spent some time visiting Susie, Jeffrey and Sienna, our old next door neighbors and other friends from the neighborhood including Steve and Irene who bought our house. They were very gracious and invited us in to see our old red house. We also got to hang out with our friends Janet and Phillip and their sons William and Thomas who Nate went to daycare with. The boys had a great time catching up as did we. We saw several other old friends while we were there and had a wonderful time with them all.
Nate and I went to the Georgia Aquarium for a whole day. Although we went once before we left Atlanta, it had just opened and was a total zoo. We really got to explore everything this time. It is the most impressive aquarium I have ever been too. They have an astonishing collection inclusive of the only whale sharks in the US and largest tank of any aquarium in the world (6+ million gallons of salt water) that has a 100 foot long tunnel. They also have four beluga whales and several other amazing species. Here are a few photos...

One of the four whale sharks - very huge!

Look ma - a grouper!

Jellies!

Hammerhead shark in the tunnel.

Look - it is a tiger shark
