Bobster the lobster...

This weekend we (Debbie, Nate, Dave and me) went to Provincetown. Debbie and Nate drove down on Thursday and after I picked up Dave at the airport Friday morning, we took the ferry. By far, the ferry is the best way to travel. It was very cush and only took ninety minutes. By the time we finished our lunch, and looked at a few magazines, we were there. Friday night we went to this off-the-beaten-path seafood restaurant at the dock in P-town. There we had some great lobster, steamers and fried worms (fried clams). That is where we also picked up this great t-shirt for Nate.

Here is a close-up of the shirt. All weekend Nate kept saying, "Bopster the lobster loves corn on the cobster while flying his helicopster!" Whatta nut!

Saturday we went to the National Seashore. It was the perfect day to go to the beach - sunny, not too hot, and not too crowded. Daddy and Nate dug a huge hole in the sand and later we played in the ocean. We even got Nate to walk into the water up to his neck, although he spent most of his time having us push him back and forth in the intertube.

We came home early today, because it was very overcast and a bit drizzly when we got up this morning. Bummer - we were really looking forward to another day on the beach! Once we got home Nate showed daddy how well he could ride his bike and then they played some basketball in the street. Nate needs some time to perfect his shot! All in all it was a great Father's Day weekend.
