Today, our dear neighbor Joan said, "Welcome to spring in New England. It sneaks up on you." She was right. In just a matter of days, trees are flowering, plants are popping up, the birds are everywhere and the temperatures have risen. Today was an amazing day with temperatures reaching almost 80 degrees, so Nate and I went for our first ice cream treat of the season. Nate is a purist - vanilla on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles. YUM!
