Spring vacation

This year for April vacation we took a trip west to visit family. First stop was Sonoma where we stayed with Dave and Paul in their lovely weekend retreat. Grammy Jeff and her friend Claudia joined us as well as the Barry's (my best friend since first grade Dina, her daughter Abbi and her husband Brett. We had a great time soaking up the sun by the pool.

Next up was a trip to Reno with a quick stop at the Jelly Belly factory. We toured the factory and bought a crazy amount of jelly beans. Our favorites were the belly flops (Jelly Belly's that were odd shapes and sizes) and Nate thought the trick jelly beans flavored like ear wax and diaper wipes were hysterical.

Once we got to Reno the weather shifted and actually snowed. We had a great dinner out with many of my grade school friends - Michael, Stacey, Raina, Dina and Tim. It was so much fun to see everyone. We also got to spend some time with grandma and grandpa. Nate really enjoyed going through grandpa's rock collection.

It was a great trip and we all went home and relaxed a couple days before going back to work and school.
