Hi all-
Here is our recap of 2007...
January -
- Nate turned the big four. It was quite the celebration complete with a big screen movie in our living room and lots of friends.
- Debbie accepted a position with the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as Director of Research and Evaluation.
February -
- Deb started her new job February 1. Her first week in Massachusetts was a chilling -20 degrees (yes, that says negative!)
March -
- We put our beloved Decatur house on the market. We still miss it and all our great neighbors.
April - May -
- We got an offer on our house 30 days after it went on the market. Here is Nate sleeping in one of the moving boxes.
- We took one last little beach vacation to Amelia Island FL.
- Jane and Nate packed up the house, wrapped up work and school, said goodbye to all our friends and hit the road for a 3-day road trip to Massachusetts just before Memorial Day weekend.

June, July and August- We enjoyed a beautiful New England summer. It was rarely hot and we spent a lot of time outdoors.
- We took a few field trips around Massachusetts. Nate loved visiting the farm and the zoo.
- Jane was offered a position at Boston University as the Project Director for a 5-year multi site evaluation and technical assistance project looking at methods to increase access to dental care for persons with HIV. For more details you can visit the project site at www.hdwg.org/echo
September, October and November -
- The New England fall brought us amazing leaves, cool temperatures and a few visitors.
- Beba (Deb's mom) and Sal came from Florida to visit twice.
- Dave (Nate's dad) came to visit and we had a wonderful time seeing the sites along the Massachusetts's coast, visiting clam shacks, and going to a minor league baseball game.
- Grammy Jeff came from Colorado to visit us as well. She got here just in time for Halloween. We had a blast trick or treating around our neighborhood. Grammy was Amelia Erhart, I was a witch and Nate was Captain Hook.
- We spent a quiet Thanksgiving at home and enjoyed watching the Macy's Day Parade on TV.
- Nate started ice skating lessons at the local rink. He did quite well for a kid who has never seen the ice before. He was also fascinated by the Zamboni!
- We kicked off the holiday season early in December with Hanukkah. Nate loved the idea of lighting candles every night and eight nights of presents!
- We had two great snow storms in mid-December. Nate was so excited. He had never seen so much snow and it had been a long time since we had seen that much as well! He made many snow angels and was eating snow by the shovel full. We also have a great collection of icicles in our freezer!
- We flew to the west coast in mid-December for a whirlwind tour of visiting families and friends. We spent Christmas with Dave and family in SF. We all really enjoyed our time with everyone.

That is our wrap-up of 2007. Massachusetts is a beautiful state, and we’re happy to host visitors. So if you find yourself heading to the Northeast, please give us a call. We would love to see you. We hope you have a safe New Year's and a happy and healthy 2008.
Happy 2008,
Jane, Deb & Nate
